Terms of service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing and using this website (“the Site”) you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

2. About us

The Site is operated by Acton Education Services (“AES”), a sole-trader business in the United Kingdom. The Site exists to describe AES’s services and tools, and to allow visitors to request free resources.

3. The Site versus the tools

AES products such as the Revision Planner and Feedback Tool are provided under their own separate terms of service, agreed at the point of purchase or trial. These Terms govern only your use of this marketing website.

4. Content and intellectual property

All written content, designs, logos, photographs and downloadable resources on the Site are the property of AES unless explicitly stated. You may share links to public pages and quote short extracts with attribution, but you may not republish, resell, or repackage AES content without written permission.

Downloadable resources (such as the SEND White Paper guide) are provided for the personal and professional use of the person who downloaded them, and for use within their own school or trust. Bulk redistribution outside that context requires permission.

5. Accuracy of information

We make a genuine effort to keep information on the Site accurate, current, and grounded in published evidence. However, education policy and research evolve. AES doesn’t warrant that all information is complete or up to date at the moment you read it, and you should treat downloaded guides as a practitioner’s interpretation rather than legal or regulatory advice.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to external sites — for example research summaries, government guidance, or third-party tools. AES has no control over those sites and isn’t responsible for their content or practices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AES is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or any resource downloaded from it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law — for example, liability for personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Changes

AES may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
